I stumbled across this product that is supposed to add Apple Carplay and Android Auto to the 2017-2018 Prius. Beat-Sonic Apple Carplay and Android Auto for 2014-2019 Toyota models with Entune 2.0 and Entune 2.5 At $500 I won't be ordering it but might consider it if it was less than $300. Has anyone tried it. Opinions?
The Prime isn't listed in the choices, but seeing as you have a 2017 Advanced (just like mine!), this disclaimer says it all. "2015-2019 Toyota Prius with JBL only (Not compatible with Prius Prime w/ 11.6" screen equipped models)"
Thanks, I missed that disclaimer. I put my head unit model number in the online order and the program added the device to the cart. It looks like they're not really checking compatibility.
