Thanks! I joined a while back and have had my 2008 for 2+ years. It had 120K then and 165K now. I recently got the HV Battery triangle of death! But thru PriusChat and YouTube, I learned about, then tackled regen and replacement of my Hybrid modules! Were there struggles? Yes! But I learned a bunch.....and good thing too, as my wife’s 2010 HV battery failed while repairing mine! What! Both are back up and with improved MPG thanks to many on this chat site. Thanks Again!
One year since the regen on my Gen II, 20,000 trouble free miles with 49mpg! On my Gen 3 car which I only matched and replaced 2 modules (not in the same block, also 1 year ago) I got the triangle of death again. Sure enough a different module showed bad in block #11. One module was almost 2 volts lower than the rest, so I'm doing a regen on all and replacing at least that one battery.
I had absolutely NOTHING to do with your success in regards to this endeavor. Mostly because I know nothing about replacing hybrid modules. But since I've been self isolating for 2+ months, I need ANY reason I can find to celebrate. So I'm just going to say...You're Welcome!
