I have a 2015 Prius C and I unfortunately bent one of the stock rims. I’m looking to replace the entire set, I also want to make sure they are light weight. Can anyone link me a set of good rims that will fit? I actually need new tires but I figured since I have a bent rim it’ll be good to just buy some rims and take them in when I get the new tires. I’m really bad with things like this.
The lighter the rims, the more easily they are bent. Aftermarket rims will take you into a world of non-OEM tire sizes and bolt patterns that can lead to other problems - not the least of which if you go to sell your car some day - then somebody like me won't go near the car for fear that you've been tinkering with OTHER things besides just fixing a whammed rim. Since rim swaps are one of the more common mods for small cars, there is a large supply of homeless stock rims out there looking for a new forever home. I would get 2 OEM rims off of someplace like eBay, Amazon, etc and use one to make all four of your corners straight again. I would use the other as a full size spare for long trips or the next time you have a ramp strike. When you get new tires, see if they will put the best of the 4 old tires on the other rim. Good Luck!!
I found these and I read that someone was able to pop these on, Konig Helium Silver Wheel (15x6.5"/4x100mm) Can anyone confirm if these actually do fit? And if so will I need any additional hardware? I’ve also heard things about different tire sizes? I was planning to use 175/65/15
