What are the differences between the 2006 Prius and the 2007 Prius? Are there any visual differences like the hybrid side icon added in the 2006 Prius that the 2005 Prius didn't have? Are there software updates? Or is the 2007 Prius just the 06 version except with an additional Touring edition? I just would like to know the difference betweem them so I can tell them apart.
I just got a 2007 Touring and have spent a fair bit of time in 2006's. I know of no differences other than the Touring Edition changes. As best I can tell they look (and act) identical otherwise.
There really aren't any differences in the two models, except for a few cosmetic changes with the Touring edition (suspension, wheels and spoiler), the two models are exactly the same.

I notice no extra road noise, nor does it seem to be a rougher ride at all. However, it feels much more controlled and competent entering and through turns.
