Hey friends. Replaced my passenger axle recently and can’t get it to pop back into the diff clean. Local shop says diff bushing is worn. Anyone experienced this? Any suggestions? Thanks!
If the snap ring is removed temporarily from the inboard end of the shaft, will it mate up inside the differential that way? I wouldn't leave it like that, but maybe trying it would tell you something.
If you still have the old one, take the snap ring off, and see it goes back in correctly. If it does, there's something different between the OEM and replacement splines.
