Hello, my wife just damaged our front bumper cover and need to replace it. We have a 2015 blizzard pearl Prius with no fog lights, no Led headlight, and no headlight washers. Looking for it to be in fairly good condition and willing to drive or pay shipping (if the price is right). I live in the Sacramento area. I also am open to someone who is able to paint a new bumper cover. Thank you all!
Have you tried the auto recyclers in Rancho Cordova? They have row after tow of Prii. Might be worth a call.
I'd say it's not bad at all. Purely cosmetic. My wife accidentally hit a truck's hitch in the front at a really low speed. I attached a few pictures including a top to bottom pic. You're probably right. I'll give it a try. My last attempt to buy from those, for a different car, didn't go too well
I live in Sacramento. HP motors rarely carry stock on pearl white 070 paint code bumpers. They’re very popular. You can also try Autogator.com
Hybridpit in Buena Park is selling a Pearl White Toyota OEM G Bumper with signals and fogs. Would be an excellent time to upgrade to this very rare state side front bumper. It’s already painted too.
Meh, a bit of 2-part epoxy and fiberglass mesh on the back, some filler and sanding on the front, blended paint job: done. It's a little love-tap. In a year or two there could be more.
Correct. They were indeed out of them. You make fixing it sound so easy! I question my painting abilities on this type of job. I've painted my house, refinished cabinets, furniture, etc but this has me scared! Body shops charge a lot for such a minor thing. You're right that it's not a huge deal but it bugs so much. The car is only a 2015,a garage kept, and should look factory new (other than rock chips in the front) in my opinion!
Pro repair WOULD rival replacement for cost, maybe exceed it, but might be less hassle. You DO want a blended paint job, where they feather out the color, end up shooting nearly clear.
