Hi guys I have Prius Plus+ EU version And i wanna tow another car with trailer Car about 1200kg +trailer 300kg I know Prius afraid of towing, maybe because when towing with rope, Prius gearbox always have some kicks.. but with trailer gearbox dont have those kick, and all are stable. Im right? or not... where are problem? I have another car, e38 bmw, but problem bmw dont have car hook.. :/
It will probably tow it, the problem will be stopping it. I think that is double the towing weight specified for your V.

I would never tow another car with a class 1 hitch. It isn't strong enough. Then again, I would never tow anything bigger than a bicycle with a Prius. I like my transmission too much to abuse it.
Prius should not be used to tow another car, the hitch, chassis and brakes aren't strong enough, and you might overheat the transmission or inverter with the excess load. From the research I've done the maximum is less than 900kg
