Windscreen scuttle panel padding

    Hi folks,
    Does anyone know what the black padding that goes between the black plastic windscreen scuttle panel and body is called or what the part number is?
    I took the panel off the other day and the padding is completely dried out or missing in places.

    I do not.

    However, would it be reasonable to apply weatherstripping tape sold at home improvement stores, for example:
    Foam Tapes - Weather Stripping - The Home Depot

    If that would be useful, perhaps you can find such tape at your local hardware or similar stores.
