I have sprayed some "simple green all-purpose" cleaner on my car and after few days, i have noticed some marks...i tried washing them away with soap and water and that did not do anything.. Any Recommendations ?
I wouldn't use Simple Green Cleaner on my paint. It's a degreaser. It's marketed as something you can use from everything from cleaning your engine, to detailing your interior. But if it was me? I don't think I would use it on my vehicles painted finish.
Thanks...i put some hand sanitizer and i tried few times...same result..did not fix the problem...i appreciate your help though
Thanks..i should have known better..it threw me off when it said all purpose cleaner...my first time using it. i did not know it was a degreaser...
You should bring it to a professional detailer who can tell you whether they think it can be corrected with a polisher. Otherwise, the paint may be permanently damaged.
Well it's a little confusing because it's marketed as being an "All Purpose" cleaner. At their website, they say a diluted solution can be used for interior detailing. But for me, as far as paint finish? I would just buy a real "Car Wash" formula. Something specifically made to clean the exterior. All purpose or otherwise, I'm not using something that can degrease my engine, on my clear coat and painted exterior finish. Any major store's auto aisle should have multiple car wash formulas, designed to be used to clean the exterior of your car. They're not expensive. I think keeping some around, even just for spot cleaning, is a good investment.
I can't figure out what I'm looking at. What's the story on the leaves and branches? And is there a whole zone that's gone off-colour, to a sort of olive drab??
Ok think I figured it out, it's just the discoloured zone circled in red. Yeah, have a pro detailer look at it.
Whats the deal with the crazy stencils? I would say use a clay bar but it may do something to those stencils.
