Just one of those things that occurred to me while shaving this morning. Isn't this whole virus crisis something you would think the US SG would be right out there on? Indeed, last time I remember ANY surgeon general was C. Everett Koop. Could not tell you who the current one is.
"don'T rump" cabinet members & many other appointees are there to say, "yes sir, nice decision, sir". The last action of the "don'T rump" pressy-dent-see will be to OFFICIALLY hand the U.S. over to putin, which "don'T rump" has been doing all along.
Jerome Adams....is that the surgeon general. Never heard of him. Hmm. If I was on a game show and had to name the surgeon general, I would have thrown out Ben Carson.
i've seen him on tv talking about, and read on line interviews regarding his advice on the coronavirus. it's pretty much a figurehead job, he isn't doing any surgery or generals.
Don't ask, don't tell But, figurehead, yes. Which means he should really be out there waving the flag.

I saw him a few days ago. he was choking on his words. I think he is like 45 yo... I was in shock when I saw it.
Since making a similar snarky comment about the SG position some weeks ago, I've actually been seeing him on TV a lot. Enough so that I should have apologized for the snark. Another way to find him: look for the token African American person in Trump's official appearances --- behind the podium, not in front among the press asking the questions. No, not Ben Carson, but the one who is actually doing something and talking non-fiction. Or -- look for this guy:
Before this week he was in the Coronavirus briefings almost every day. He as also done the weekend news shows.
