    The best apocalypse vehicle is a simple touring bike with a sturdy trailer.

    Gas would be scarce and even the simplest of modern car is too difficult to repair with the appropriate tools and replacement parts. It might not be glamorous or get you places very fast, but post-apocalyptic survival is a marathon, not a sprint.
