Sourcing a new dipstick

    Thanks everyone for your ideas and advice.

    I found a simple solution to the problem. I changed my tires from 15" to 17" - this raised the oil sump, so now it is closer to the dipstick.

    Problem solved!

    Did the car have a recent conversion to Judaism? If so, was there the usual ceremony required of all males?????:eek::eek:

    For sure, there would be shrinkage...
