Hi guys, Someone are talking me about a cell type from China to replace Toyota/Lexus battery. They not yet quotes me price but seem not cheap. Give me an advice! Thanks a lot.
Try NewPriusBatteries in Colorado Springs they sell a kit with all wiring harness etc. needed. Works well.
Questions: 1. why is there a big white rectangle around the batteries? 2. Why are they grouped in packages of 5? 3. Why do the sticks look like there are 6 cells in a stick? The prius batteries are usually 28 prismatic modules at 7.2v, or 14 cylindrical modules at 14.4v. The prismatics are 6 cells sandwiched together with vents on ther top. The cylindrical modules are usually made of 12 cells, which are stacked on top of each other in three columns of four cells each. I would suggest a comparison by going to the alibaba website and searching for "prius batteries"
