I just picked up the parts to install the factory XM in my 2006 Prius: I bought them here: http://www.metrotpn.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=96 They arrived right away, but I'm in need of some installation instructions. I found some for the 2004/5 Prius, see: https://www.metrotpn.com/documents/PDF%20Fi...sXMradio3.2.pdf But what I'm wondering is if these instructions still apply for the 2006 or if they changed something. Can anyone tell me? Did anyone out there do this install on a 2006 yet? TIA

With regard to the radio, the new radio's antenna is smaller and has a single wire verses the larger form factor and double wire of the older radio. If the dealer is installing it they would install it on the right side of the dash. Please refer to a post from stevehj regarding his install: stevehj post.
