I just bought a 2006 Prius. It came with an auxillary audio input that you can plug an mp3 player in so that you can take your tunes on the road with you. Great idea, but just one problem. Where do you find a dual male mini jack cable. Other than for this particular situation I don't know of any other use for such a cable and don't know where to find one.

Yes, a 3.5 mm male-to-male stereo audio cable. Also known as 1/8" stereo or mini stereo. For example: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.js...oductId=2426135
I also sell an MP3 player cable. It might not be as cost effective to get it from me unless you package it with other purchases, but I thought I would let everyone know. They go for $4.00 and the are 6ft long. http://www.metrotpn.com/ProductDetails.asp...mp;SortIndex=21
standard audio mic plug or mini plug. i paid the $20 at the apple store for mine. not as conveinent as the VAIS option but a lot cheaper. i wish they would have provided a way to power my ipod thru the jack, that would have been too cool!. the onscreen display was nice, but my ipod was not set up to view that way anyway so dont really miss that.
As others have noted, it is a standard 1/8" male to male wire - nothing special about it. Think mine is the Radio Shack version. I use one to connect a standard cassete tape player so I can feed my 'Books on Tape while commuting' addiction.
I know...this is probably a silly question: Does a straight connection of an MP3 through the aux connector in the center armrest show song titles etc on the MFD?? I'm looking to get an MP3 or iPOD but also want the integration as well. Thanks ITW
