hi all - i just picked up my 2007 Prius - Magnetic Gray, Option 6 (same as option 8 in '06). love it! have not been this happy about a car - well, maybe ever (although when i picked up my new 325i a few years back, i was jazzed then too)... my only complaints so far: - 1 cup holder in the front - what's up with that? - almost too many gadgets... hard to remember to look at the speed and the road  thanks to all who helped with info re: tax credit, etc... see ya'll on the road.
Congratulations!!! Do the 07's only have 1 cupholder in the front? My 06 has 2...one that you fold down towards the dash and another right behind it that you flip up, both in the center console. And there are 2 in back and 2 more quasi-cupholders up front~1 in each door (like for a water bottle). I say quasi b/c they don't look like cupholders and people usually keep some stuff in the side pockets that might prevent these 'cupholders' from being used as such.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(BlueBear @ Sep 28 2006, 10:13 AM) </div> Interesting...I keep my bottle of water (16oz) in there at all times and haven't had any problem with spillage or anything. I use the holder behind it to put my cell phone and sometimes keys in.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Rancid13 @ Sep 28 2006, 10:16 AM) </div> ok - maybe i'm just being paranoid... i also have a honda crv-se, so i guess that i'm just used to really obvious large cupholders thanks for the tip
I just got my 07 prius as well and the interior is pretty much the same as the 06... 1 cupholder each on the driver and front passenger door and 2 on the top front of the center console and 2 rear on the center console. I've had a regular size Jamba Juice in the center console front cup holders and it's fine.
Any photos of the interior? Any differences between the interiors of the Touring edition and the standard Prius? Curious, that there wouldn't be a second cup holder if the console is the same size and in the same place as the 04-06 model years. Why remove the cup holder? I use one of them for my flower vase. B

I'd like to see what new features/changes they introduced this year.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Kross @ Sep 28 2006, 12:07 PM) </div> I'll post some interior pics soon in my thread: http://priuschat.com/Took-delivery-of-my-2...day-t24890.html
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(pagoda113 @ Sep 28 2006, 11:44 PM) </div> Ah. I think you are right.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(BlueBear @ Sep 28 2006, 01:04 PM) </div> I think you are confusing people. There are 2 cup holders in the front, just like in '04, '05, '06 models
And if you have a large mug with a handle, just slide forward the drawer in the center console. They fit nice and secure there.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(maggieddd @ Sep 29 2006, 04:00 AM) </div> yes, yes, yes... i agree - my bad - mea' coupa... there ARE 2 cupholders up front... i have now figured out this important feature sorry for the spaz...
my favorite storage compartment is the drawer that slides out in the bottom of the console. It nicely fits a box of kleenex! I happened upon this when reading PC. I would've had no idea of it otherwise. So far as a cell phone holder, I pop the little drawer open under the radio controls and rest it there. This frees up my cupholders for the obvious intention. I, too, have never had a spillage problem with that front holder.
