What is the engine coolant temp normal range? I was driving up a mountain pass in 1-5 mph traffic and the temp went up to 205F ish. I suspect this is normal upper limit. The ICE was kicking in and out and revving between 1-2K. Just bought this 2015 Prius C a month ago its got 98K on it. At what point should the temp cause concern (I'd like to set an alarm).

Let me further ask, does inverter temp affect ICE coolant temp? Are the radiators integrated?

Another OCD, paranoid Prius owner. Seriously.
There is a built-in warning light for that.
With most engines it is set at 220 F or higher.

Stop obsessing over your engine temperature and just DRIVE the damn thing.

What other normally unseen parameters are you going to want to monitor ??

How are you seeing the coolant temperature?

Is there a way to block someone on this forum? This person seems to have an issue with negativity.

Instructions probably not valid for phone layout; you're on your own there.

And some people can't seem to "handle the truth".

And label anyone who doesn't agree exactly with their view of life as "negative" like any differing opinion is a bad thing.
    It is NOT.

If you actually listen to people who have a different view of the world than you do, you might accidentally learn something every so often.

    Seriously tho,

@sam spade 2 is correct (and a good guy here)

gotta love the enjoyment some time.

The Prius C is so great, it doesnt need a temp gauge. (actually any prius)

Actually just nice to see someone worrying about something other than the bug going around.

I use a scan gauge and see my temp. I look at it all the time, but mainly to see what the temp
is to know when to stay in EV or etc when coming up to a downhill or whatever.

Enjoy your c, and dont be afraid to ask any questions, or receive any helpful or non helpful replies.
Not many c owners here...and sammy is one of them lol
