Help! ABS, VCS, Brake TPMS lights all on after tire change AND no brakes!

This is my first post here so forgive any mistakes in my post:

So, I run a family-owned, small independent repair shop SW of Houston. I drive a 2009 Touring Edition and both my sister and daughter drive Gen 2s as well.

Last week my daughter had me order one new tire for her as she'd already replaced the other three and the fourth was well-worn.

Her new tire came in and when my technicians started to change it out, they found one of the lug nuts gaulded onto the stud. We got a new stud and temporarily removed the caliper to R&R the stud. When that was done and the new tire installed, we got warning lights for the engine (there was an engine code which we reset), ABS, VCS, brake and TPMS! Basically, all the dash was lit up. It was closing time on the Thursday before our 3-day holiday weekend and the guys were ready to get the heck out of Dodge and I thought the lights were probably not more than warning of a needed reset or more or less more nuisance, but no. the car has no brake the first 3/4 of the pedal travel and then locks them up.

I called the nearest Toyota dealer and their service guy hadn't heard of such issues developing from, basically, a simple tire change. He had me disconnect the 12V battery but everything lit back up as soon as it was reconnected. He also told me to power the car on press & hold the Tire Pressure Warning reset switch which I can readily find on my 2009 but do not see on this 2005.

So frustrated and have no idea what step to take next.

Hers has 256948 miles. It had the hybrid battery replaced about 100,000 miles or so ago.

Mine is a 2009 and I had no idea there was no TPMS on the earlier ones. I can see on the dash where the reset button WOULD be, but of course its not there.

 

WE FIGURED IT OUT!!! When the mechanic started the car with his foot on the brake and the caliper off the car, it adjusted all the way in and scrambled the computer readings. Toyota is going to reset it for us tomorrow. Thanks to each of you who responded!
