What is the current software version for a 2016 Prius 4 with navigation? My system says it's at: Audio: 01019E Audio System: 000095 Dsp Module: A10010 The Toyota Owners website has version 01014B 013A4C which is from Sept 08 2017. I'm currently having trouble with the software. It shuts down and resets intermittently. Sometimes it recognizes the names associated with my calling presets on the screen, other times it just shows the telephone numbers. Bluetooth connections can take forever. I'm hoping there's an update available or coming soon.
Have you tried a hard reset of the system? Just hold the volume button in for 6 or 8 seconds. That might help...
As of Toyota bulletin T-SB-0003-20, “Entune Audio Head Unit Software Update (Panasonic)” (PDF), published January 13, 2020, the latest versions are 0101A0 or 0101A1. The download links in the bulletin linked above don’t work, of course, since that copy isn’t hosted on techinfo.toyota.com, where a Professional Diagnostic subscription would be needed to download the files.
Ive updated multiple times from this site. Only need to drop the file onto the root of a flashdrive and plug it into the USB port of the car and go to software update in the Prius screens settings Toyota Downloads
I believe Toyota stops providing the latest updates via this portal. For example, the latest update for 2016-2018 Prius/Prius Prime/Prius V with Entune Premium Audio head unit should be: 13TDANNA-DA11_0160.kwi But currently available from the above download link is: 13TDANNA-DA11_0146.kwi Perhaps it was another genius marketing idea - to get us used to free updates and then remove that option, so we have to go to the dealership again. I am sure you are aware, that those updates were only free for the first 3 years of your warranty. Anything later than that - you have to pay Toyota dealership to update your HUD (or get the paid subscription to TIS and download files from there).
