Pricey car equals driver a Jerk?

Reminds me of an old Jetsons episode. George came home exhausted and plopped onto his chair, calling his boss a slavedriver - he had to press a button that day.

 

I recall Paparazzi following Jerry Seinfeld around because invariably he would park illegally downtown New York which would cost him $250. But for him, that's like paying 25¢ for a ticket. Even getting busted constantly by a Paparazzi didn't break him of the habit. Anyway - I'm not so sure any more than 85% of intitle drivers are BMW owners. Take this fine fellow as an example .... not a BMW around for miles;

Another hypothesis: someone driving a 'beater' welcomes a chance to take a brake.

I drive a Prius and a ZR1...and I'm politically non-partisan. Let's here the "science" on that one.

 

Always edged out the luxury brands with my hand me down Buick in traffic.

 

I don't recall hearing any claims of a partisanship angle to this issue.
