2009 with the following light on: ((!)) + ABS + VSC

For me that was a fault on the ASB relay which was replaced. You can use a paper clip to read the blink codes from the system. You can search the forum for the post showing how to do this.

 

The second part of Phil's reply is the most important. Because the same dash lights come on for a very wide variety of trouble codes, until you know what your trouble codes are, it doesn't matter very much how somebody else's problem was solved (especially when even the codes that went with that problem aren't stated).

Even after you do have the codes, you still can't search the internet for somebody who had the same codes, and think you have the same issue; the codes aren't that specific. They only report what a computer in the car could see, but what caused it could be a leak in one car and a bad sensor in another and wiring damage in a third. But still the codes are most helpful because they will greatly narrow down where you have to look for those possible causes.

The "with no driving issues" part is kind of beside the point, because diagnostic warning systems are intended to alert you to dangers before you would notice them yourself.

Techstream, if you have access to it, is the best way to read the trouble codes. Using the jumper wire and counting blink codes gives you only an abridged version of the info, but is definitely the place to start if you don't have another way to read the codes.
