I watch LED traffic lights, which run non stop but intermittently. Most seem to exhibit wind damage to the diffusing lens as opposed to burned out LEDs
Not never. Just unlikely. Consider the 2014 Corolla with LED low beam headlights. These are used as DRLs in Canada (at slightly reduced intensity) and are used as taxis so they’re run way more often than private vehicles. So far, I haven’t seen any one-eyed Corollas. So any US owner questioning the longevity of the LED headlights can take solace that at least on the Corolla model (which I assume is a lower cost version than the ones found on our Primes) has lasted 6 years even in taxi use. I have already seen a failing LED DRL on a Lincoln Continental livery car. (It was yellow vs. white on the other side)
Have you been able to find the bulbs you need? What happened to your old ones, burnt out or ? If they did, how many miles when they failed?
