I wonder if it's just cosmetics, they're swappable, or no?

 

I'd suspect it's cosmetic, to distinguish the PIP, but yeah who knows.

 

They are cosmetically different. The PiP has clear lenses inside which light up red and the regular lights have red lenses.

@priusthetic sorry for the derail. Anyway, looks like they'll work on any 3rd gen, just cosmetic diff's.

Or shrine them next to the PIP rims.
