Hello everyone... Putting out a feeler if anyone would like to trade their OEM (Black 2012-2015 w/ hubcaps & non-PIP) or lightweight aftermarket wheels for my 2015 Prius Persona wheels. They were mounted on my car around 22K miles ago w/ new Land Sport branded tires which still have a good amount of tread left on them. The wheels themselves are still in the factory gunmetal finish and have never been repainted. They aren’t perfect (minor curb rash/nicks on some areas... I received the wheels as is) but still look great from about 5ft away. There are no bends or cracks on any of the wheels. Reason for the trade is my gf has been driving my car more often and she isn’t much of a ‘pulse & glider’. I’ve gotten up to 52MPG average on a pure highway tank but usually I average 46MPG with a city/hwy mix. She is averaging around 41MPG w/ a heavy foot and heavy A/C usage lol. I’d also like to downsize back to 15” to restore some ride comfort for our longer road trips this summer. I am looking for a straight out trade, no cash needed for both parties to make things easy. (PM me if you’ve got aftermarket wheels and would like cash on my end.) Since the Persona wheels are valued higher than the 15” OEM wheels, yours MUST be in good condition (no major rash/no bends or cracks) and MUST have reputable LRR tires with lots of tread or in like-new condition in order for me to consider the trade. I do miss the quiet and comfy ride from my old Michelin Energy Savers, but I will also consider other brands. I’ll get the wheels cleaned up later this week & take individual photos showcasing the imperfections. But for now, here are a few older photos of them. Still looking to swap if anyone’s interested. The 2 wheels mounted on the passenger side have a couple new small curb rashes, and tires still have around 50%.
They’re a nice darker gunmetal chrome color, compared to the regular silver on the 17” Five wheels. Come check them out in person if you’d like, they’re a little hard to photograph.
I have a set of the 15" 2106 Prius Four alloy wheels that I would love to swap with you. They are silver.
Just to satisfy my curiosity: are you sure those were Persona rims, not Classic Silver Metallic Level 5 (aka V (2010~2011), aka "Touring" in Canada))? The latter are worth a bit more, I think? Touch up colour 1F7 is a perfect match, btw, for the road rash.
