Bought the car from Santa Clara county about a year ago. Runs perfectly. The cat was stolen last week & it’s not worth it for me to replace it. Hybrid battery was replaced at the dealer with a new one in 10/2015 @ 127257 miles. Has 174413 miles now. I’ve replaced the 12 volt battery, all CV boots, spark plugs, all fluids when I bought it. The axle seal was leaking & I replaced both sides. No leaks at all. Installed the Toyota Blu-Logic Bluetooth audio system. It has some holes on the roof where the County had a light bar & some holes on interior ( couple) where they had equipment installed. They sealed them off & I've had it through the winter with no leaks. The driver floor carpet has worm through & it’s covered with a weather tech mat. Original windshield. It was used as a parking enforcement vehicle & if the lighting is right you can see the outline of the decals. Barely visible only at night. Everything works & it’s really a solid car. I commute 100 miles a day since I bought it & the car runs great. If you have access to a cat, that’s all it needs. Asking $1500 for the car. I live in the Central Valley Modesto area. I can send more pics. I am a master certified ASE tech with 20 years working for Lexus & Toyota, & did all the work myself. I just can’t afford to put a new $2000 cat & O2 sensor on this. If you have a junked Prius with a good center pipe, bolting it onto this car will make it a solid reliable car again
I'd call a few hybrid repair shops in L.A if you're nearby.. theres one that does batteries.. they may be able to help you out. I paid one $200 for them to install a used cat. Note: I can't say which for obvious reasons.
