Would it pass inspection by any chance?

He said he wasn't coming back to this thread, so your question likely won't get answered... Over the years I've found that the hardest part about helping people on here is some people have an odd way of explaining things and their explanation will sometimes change with each new post. You just gotta roll with it and not take it personally and hopefully when they don't understand or don't like what we suggest they don't take it personally either.

Exactly what I was thinking, I have been though some crap recently and purchased a used prius with light damage in the rear.

I paid 2500 for the car and new hatch bumper cover and reinforcment impact and tail light with paint and labor came out around 600.00 to repair it does have error with left rear when sensor I've been quoted 150 to replace other then that runs perfect there was no damage to 12v battery or anything else.. whoever is guiding you on the personal injury thing becareful, they dont seem to have your best interest in mind.

Mines not perfect it was fixed in one day I still need some minor adjustments but that's for later.

Just in case he does come back I put a few pics up,

Theres different ways of looking at thing my point of view for example is , and in 90% of the situations similar that I deal with It goes

1.Car accident guy is mad thinks its other guys fault.

2.meets with adjuster who low balls him gets check for low amount.

    3. Comes to bodyshop and thinks bodyshop is taking advantage of him by taking his check and saying its gonna cost more, then doesn't want to pay his deductable thinking it's not his fault why should he pay.

    4. Car is fixed and damaged panels are refinished rest of car shows wear and tear but repaired panels look like new..

So the person then shows up to the shop unhappy no matter what they expected the whole car to look new and it doesnt even if the bodyshop does light paint correction it never looks new, so the customer has unrealistic expectations from the get go and everyone disappoints them, somewhere in between they come here and ask questions and again think everyone is out to get them..

That poor bodyshop that's dealing with him,
and poor customer that's not gonna be happy with work as even when it's done 2 weeks later when he washes it and all the foampad polish/silicone come off the refinished parts and it's full of swirls hes gonna go back 2x more then give up and be mad at the world the rest if his life..

Lose lose from the beginning of accident, post, repair.

I work on lot of junk cars and come across this often.

Yea... It's truly astounding how blameless people think they are these days... Whatever happened to humble people who share the road? I'm a daily reader of Idiots In Cars and it's so amazing how many times people post dash cam footage of someone else that did them wrong, when the truth is they're the ones who stupidly escalating the situation and doing the wrong. One of the most common ones I see are people changing lanes or merging with traffic and the person with the dash cam speeding up to try to make it as hard as possible for the person trying to change lanes rather than simply take their foot off the accelerator for a second so they have room. We share the road, we don't own the road... All the idiots who won't share the road and think it's everyone else's fault and they're blameless, I'm sure many of the customers that you characterized are of this nature.
