Is the instrument panel lens normally two pieces or did mine crack? There is vertical line in the middle with the two pieces leaning in different directions, one towards the front and one towards the back. Any ideas?

I have the same thing on my new 2006 and was wondering if it was cracked. If not why would they choose two pieces since the joint sticks out.
