Gen4 key in Gen3

    Does anyone know if the gen4 key will work in a gen3 prius? In the past Toyota and Lexus keys have been relatively interchangeable.

    Never read that they were... Suspect they are not... But the question AFAIK has not been asked on here yet, so maybe there's still a chance?

    With a hardware mod is it possible, only software no.
    I have replace the Gen4 electronic with my Gen3
    The biggest problem is the emergency key, Gen4 have a smaller key then Gen3.
