So seems everyone is saying that it would not be unusual for me to get crappy gas milage in my 2011 prius with 210,000 miles and the original 12v battery. Mine also suffers the disappearing oil syndrom common in the 2011 gen 3. Any thoughts on that?

According to the post title/subject, and no information in the thread about estimate MPGs per tank, I would say not enough information provided. Personally, whenever my previous tank averages 60 mpgs or lower, I lose sleep and that constitute as bad MPG. Since you didn't define what bad mpg is, let's go by my standard; youre right under 60 mpgs mark also :ROFLMAO:

    1. Replace the 12 volt battery. Don't bother testing, go straight to replacement.
    2. Track the mpg for a few tanks and report.
    3. Monitor the oil loss for a while and report.
    4. EGR and intake manifold cleaning is waaay overdue: clean both asap. You're in head gasket failure now.
    5. Look into oil catch can.

I would tackle the easy things first; tire psi, tire make & model + see post #5 first item on list.
