My 2011 is making an odd popping noise from the front passenger side, that only happens consistently when it is raining or has rained. It has been to the dealership twice and they have not been able to recreate the symptoms. It started as a single pop when accelerating from a stop and sometimes when applying the brakes. It has progressed to the sound in the video. It is the lower pitched sound, not the sound of my shoes squeaking on the pedals. Now it also happens when driving at highway speeds and increases with speed. It doesn't always happen and is hard to recreate. Most recently, on the highway (70-80mph) it would happen when not accelerating and would go away under acceleration. My guess is CV Axle, but wanted to check with y'all before I spend the $ to have it replaces. Thanks for any advice in advance.
210,000 Only issue besides routine maintenance was a rear passenger side wheel bearing, she even has the original brake pads! I think it's the axle and can do the repair myself, had to replace them on my Acura TL, but the symptoms were different. I just wanted to check if anyone had a similar issue and what fixed it.
