Start-up Music/Shutdown Music....turn off, please?

Press your menu button to the right of your screen. You will see a settings button on the screen under your phone button on the screen. Press that settings button. You will then see a general button. Press it. At the bottom you will see a setting that says "Beginning/Ending Sound". Press to the right of it where it says "on". It should trigger to off.

i wish there was a way to turn off the whole startup/shutdown animation too.

 

What IS that song that plays at shut off? It's driving me nuts, I know it from something computer related, I think. Was it a Windows thing too? Or maybe from a computer game?

 

You "can" shut it off. It's in your settings. Welcome to the site.

Just got my 2020 Prime and the animation and music is enchanting ... the first 10 times. Thanks for the instructions on how to at least stop the music.

Now for the backup beeper.
