Hi , My prius is a S package so is not comes with cruise control . I bought an after market complete unit with cover and all wires but dont have a clue how to install the unit . Has anybody done this DIY job ?
I don't know if the Prius is the same, but I had a Toyota Tacoma Base without cruise control. I bought a cruise control switch and a jumper cable from the Toyota parts department. I plugged the cable into the clock spring in the center of the steering wheel and mounted the switch where it normally is on the right side of the steering wheel. Viola! Working cruise control in 20 minuets.
