Boy it's real easy snaking that ATF funnel hose through, with the engine out. :ROFLMAO:

Dramatic pictures; that's a tall drink of engine. (y)

So what did you do to unplug the ac compressor?
Did you just disconnect the lines or dis you took it to a shop to get the gas out?

@b100 As far as I know AC line disconnect is not necessary with engine removal: the compressor can be unbolted, ditto for some line brackets, then just pull it away, maybe tie to something.

    2 bolts on top
2 bolts where the starter cover plate is (because there is no starter)
    3 on the bottom
    and 2 on the back
    -So 9 all together-

Wow! Your pictures make the engine swap look sooo easy. Hope that the new engine works out well for you! Please keep us posted. Don't know if I will be that ambitious. Just have to take real good care of the engine that I got, LOL.

You could buy a whole bunch of broken Prii, repair them and have a fleet to put on turo for real cheap. The only catch is that a car has to have less than 130,000 miles and not have a rebuilt or salvage title.
I wish I could do what you can do I could quit my job and have a huge fleet of Prii
Making money for me while I relax at the beach in L.A.

I will try to fix any Prius... It just takes time and tools.
The best tool is a Toyota Scan tool.(Mini VCI + Tech Stream)

    Probably about 6 hrs
Most of the time is disconnecting Wires and hoses.
    Then reconnecting all the stuff.
Unbolting and hoisting is fast and easy.
