Which manufacturers make a Rear Sway (Anti-Roll) Bar and Front and Mid Chassis Stiffeners for 2012 Prius v (Wagon)?

    TRD? Hotchkiss? Anyone?

    TIA.

My husband's and our friend developed special front and used the special CUSCO mid chassis braces for my 2012 and his 2016 Prius "v.." I have attached photos. 05212016 003.JPG 05212016 005.JPG View attachment 162856 View attachment 162857 View attachment 162858

The Prius v has a "floating" ride. These braces make a big difference and are absolutely easy to install.

We found that there was no need. I think our friend, who was involved with Prius "v" modifications since 2012, still has a couple sets of his custom front brace and the CUSCO. I'm not sure he wants to sell them, as the CUSCO for the Prius "v" is no longer imported and must be sourced from Japan, from where shipping is a killer. He might be keeping them for a while. He said he sold several hundred of the custom front brace but quit making them due to health issues.

I have the CUSCO strut tower brace which is a complicated install. His front brace essentially does the same thing with the removal and reinstallation of only two bolts.

From what I've heard over the years and nearly 7 years of research, there is no TRD or CUSCO rear sway bar specific to the "v," I've been told that ones made for the regular 3rd generation Prius is not compatible.

Ordered the Hotchkiss set, front & rear. Just need to find end link measurements to order custom Whiteline units.

What? You getting the Hotchkis sway bars? I called Hotchkis a few months ago, wanting to order a set of bars for my '12 Prius v, and was told they no longer make them. I sure hope you get them. Where are you ordering from?

I installed the TRD rear, and think it’s the cat’s meow. Still looking for a front/mid.

Received them! Ordered through Hybrid Pit Stop parts (hybridpit.com).

They were backordered and HPS contacted me right away, asked if I wanted to wait, I asked if they were indeed the sways to fit my v, they confirmed ... so I waited patiently ... and was rewarded for my patience. I Just need to get some new end links (still need measurements. I'll get them when I get time to get under the v).

    I'll post when I install.

Hotchkiss sends bars without end links?

that's awesome! Looking forward to your review of the sways! I think the Prius v really can use a upgraded front bar. My 2007 Prius had a front bar from a Matrix and it made a big difference. Was a royal pain to install the front bar, but worth it in highway stability. Hope the Prius v front bar install is easier.
