Which struts for the smoothest ride?

I’ve tried finding an answer to this on here and not much has popped up so here it goes.

I replaced my struts 100k miles ago and when I did I lowered the car with tanabe springs that dropped the car an inch. I actually enjoyed the ride at first but now that the struts are worn out this thing has turned into a real gut jarring ride. I wanna put the car back to factory height. I have the base model not the touring so I would be replacing the struts with base model spec ones. So my question is for those that have replaced their struts and what brand did you go with and how happy are you with the ride?
