Hello everyone! TL;DR what kind of resistors should I get for the turn signals for replacing the bulbs with LEDs? Full story: I recently got a 2012 Prius v. Loving it so far. I've replaced 18 of its 22 bulbs (interior and exterior) with LEDs successfully. But I know that I can't just swap bulbs for the turn signals without getting hyperflashing, and unlike my old van, I can't just replace the module. I have a friend who will help me with the actual installation; I just don't know if I should get the generic resistors on Amazon () or if there's something specific I should be looking for? Thank you for your help.
I bought this led bulb(2x) for turn signal (rear), i found in info - people dont have Any problem with hyperflash and blink like normal light, next week i will try those Bulbs.. This is in aliexpress
Previous owner installed LED...... I don't think he did anything else to the electronics. He changed everything to LED. Inside and outside. I'll ask him.
Checked my car this morning..... does not have LED front turn signals.... previous owner said he switched everything to led..... apparently everything except the front turns... he had all of the original lights in a box ( I have the box).....headlights, side marker, interior, parking, fog..... sorry for the incorrect post. Just goes to show...don't believe everything your told. I wonder if he tried and and had hyper flash.... or just didn't remember.
Now i have led ir rear turn signal, and i dont have Any hyperflash, without resistors, link from Ali in my post above
