The catalytic converter was stolen from my 2008 Prius. I made a claim on insurance and just had a new catalytic converter installed. But I am concerned it will happen again as car is parked overnight on street in Los Angeles. Should I have a CAT Strap with alarm installed? Or some other product? Or should I sell the car and get something that is not such a high-risk target?
You should definitely get something to protect the cat. I have no experience with any of the products. Hopefully someone who has used a cat strap will post how well they work.
