Rear sway bar end links . Can't find them anywhere

    Installed my trd Rsb in my 2010 and I love it . Only problem is my right end link is developing play and a "clunk" . I can't seem to source just the rear end links anywhere . I found the front . Just can't find the rear without buying the whole kit again .


    Part numbers , links , Corolla end links that work even adjustable whiteline ones and work open to suggestions

    I have been having a similar clunk in the rear of my car. I originally thought it was the hatch, but in closer inspection it looks like my endlinks are also worn. I'm a little disappointed they only lasted about 40K miles and <4 years.

    For those looking for a more economical and perhaps durable option to the factory TRD part PTR11-47012 I found an aftermarket alternative. I took a gamble and based on looks picked up Moog K90341 and K90340 from Advance Auto. They were about $36 with a 30% off discount. This certainly beat the $90-$100 for the TRD. They also appear to be more robust and have a grease fitting.

    While they are for an Acura / Honda they are a direct fit. I assume Toyota picked an off-the shelf part rather than fab a low volume sway bar end link. Pics showing the comparison are attached.

    If you are looking for something with more bling, you may be able to use the following:

    Thanks. The only potential issue is that the grease fittings are snug to the parking brake cable. I'm hoping that there is little to no movement to wear out a hole in the cable.

    I did spend a few minutes to paint them black with some Rustoleum. The parts seem to be unprotected so I didn't want rusty metal showing behind.

    I like the way the Cusco rear sway bar has no end links at all.

    I like the look of this because:
    • no end links to wear out
    • improved ground clearance.
    I wonder if anyone here has tried them both and knows how the performance compares?

    I haven't had any clearance issues with the TRD bar. My one concern is that, in researching the endlinks, some Scion owners (which uses the same bar) reported the bar breaking on early versions without the end-links.

    Those Moog links look super strong.

    Seems easy enough to add some extra protection for the grease fitting to cable.

    Possibly. I need to take a better look at the interference this weekend as it was getting dark when I installed. The Moog parts were a little weird in that they were two different designs in the boot and grease fittings. The passenger side had a straight zerk fiiting whereas the driver side was a right angle. I think swapping out the driver side to a straight fitting might lessen the interference and give a bit smoother surface.

    @mrstop Thank you for the heads up! My 2010 Prius 5 was rear ended (on the 30th day of ownership) and deemed a total loss. Although the car seemed to drive just fine, the cost to repair was just under $5K because of body work. When the RSB was pulled, drivers side end link was bent. I've since purchased a 2012 Prius III that I'm starting build up, thanks again! IMG_2643.JPG IMG_2644.JPG

    Seriously? That's $5000 worth of damage? I'm not calling you a liar, it just seem like that's a lot of money
    for something seemingly simple. Did it damage the frame?

    I know right?!! I was surprised, but the shop GEICO referred me to (one of the best in our area) said the rear quarter panel had to be cut out then a new piece welded back in. In addition, replacing bumper, bumper cover, taillight, cracked interior pieces, bent suspension, etc. Again it seemed to drive fine, don't know if the frame was damaged, but gaps were closed between door panels and the hatchback was difficult to open. Sad to let go of this one!

    That's a bummer. It's cheaper for THEM to total it.
