It won't be Toyota who are relying on Fuji Heavy and Panasonic EV. 12 kWh equates to about 50 miles EV range, so it would be one heck of a PHEV.... Ford? GM?

FYI... Toyota tied up with Panasonic EV Energy for Li-ion development. Subaru (Fuji Heavy Industries) tied up with NEC Lamilion Energy for Li-ion development. Mitsubishi Motors tied up with GS Yuasa for Li-ion development. Ken@Japan
Seeing how LTC is a US company (located in Eastern Pennsylvania), I would guess that it would be a US automaker.

I would guess GM. At the January detroit auto show they are supposed to be showing a plug-in hybrid. From what I read it is supposed to have 30 mile electric range. I will have to see if I can find the message.
