Did family members or friends buy a prius after you bought one??

    june 12 04 i got my 9 silver prius. soon after my g/f's parents got a silver too. they liked mine. after that my parents got the rx400h. now i have friends purchasing.

    Yup... got my Barcelona #3 on July 1st, and I'll be heading up to the same dealer with my mom on Sept. 29th to pick up her Magnetic Gray #8. (Just under the wire for the full credit :D )

    And by the way, stanlwyjohn, Lynch Toyota in Manchester has a Driftwood '05 for test drives. Bit of a hike from Haddam, but not too bad.

    Yeah, I got one, 3 days after my wife got hers... (This had all been planned about a month in advance, but in fairness, when we were only planning to get one, it was to be for her.)

    Immediately upon taking delivery of "mine" it became hers, because it was "better" -- but I didn't object too much because she needs the nav system a lot more than I do. :rolleyes:

    My brother seems to have lucked out!like i did.Today he went to colchester toyota and found a red 2006 package 3 that just came in and was available due to a cancellation.Hes picking it up next week. :p

    Within two months of my Prius purchase two of my daughters bought a Prius. One more to go.

    My son got his in March,2005. I got Lola in July. Then , several months later, a friend purchased a used '05. We are all very happy with our cars.

    My sister bought a TDI Jetta. I admire the Jetta handling and the geek factor of biodiesel. I would wan't to be the one anticipating the repairs.
