I got a kick out of this spoof SUV ad which uses all the standard imagery and phony machismo of an SUV ad but the vehicle is a Toyota Prius (older model). The music is a spoof on the old Bob Seger tune "Like a Rock" that contains some profanity so if that bothers you you can always turn your sound off. Also, the site is a left leaning political site, but the spoof should be funny to anyone who gets bombarded with SUV ads while trying to watch an NFL game on a Sunday afternoon.

I have to side with the stupid part.....would be better to show the Prius for what it can do that the SUV can't...like pass gas stations, service stations, brake shops. Maybe some money sticking out of the gas door, two teens making out in the back with the seat folded down (turning 50 this year....wouldn't mind making out in the back of my car)

I see so many ads for trucks and SUV's that use the same ridiculous appeal of somehow being tougher or more adventorous if you drive a big gas guzzler to pick up groceries that I was glad to see something poking fun at that, but I appear to be in the minority. As far as unique Prius features go, two of my favorites are complete silence while idling or at low speed and the incredible turn ratio.
