Missouri HV Battery Reconditioning

    Anybody in Missouri recondition used HV Hybrid batteries. Preferably central Missouri.

    2004 Prius Gen 2. 68,000 miles.

    it's usually cheaper to buy the prolong kit than to pay someone to do it

    Interesting. I haven’t heard of this kit yet. Do a lot of Prius owners go this route?

    i don't know how to quantify the amount, but you can certainly find plenty of threads here, with info and results.

    Assuming the rest of the car decent, at 68K I think I would just put a new Toyota HV battery in it. Olathe Toyota has had some of the most cost competitive pricing on new HV batteries FWIW.

    At that low miles I would swap in a New pack and move on. You'll have it long enough to spread the cost over many, many years.
