Interesting- in my neck of the woods the real gas is all mid-grade; it’s the same product that gets blended with ethanol to create E10 premium. (9 parts 89 + 1 part 114 / 10 = 91.5)

Sorry, wasn't paying attention. Thinking ten gallons instead of ten bucks.

I assume you want the real gas for it's longer life to preserve the fuel system in the Prime? I think we would drive enough beyond the EV range that we would use up a tank in a couple of months. But, if that wasn't the case and we were going 6 months without a fill-up, I would consider seeking out real gas.

With regard to dealer inventory, it has been growing well in established markets. Watching online, I have seen the coming & going activity. Build up to have supply on-hand for attention the PHV model of RAV4 that will be stirred should work out to be really nice timing.

Hopefully, shortly following that, the other areas of the country will start getting them. That's right on schedule for a 2020 model rollout. Everyone else getting them early is a plus.

Waiting for other factors to first playout should really payoff. Some things show no benefit from being rushed.

But it can be done if, You're, really good at it !
What others which other hand ? ?

I've already seen a Rav4 Hybrid? - Plugin?. I was shocked to hear that thing pull out of it's parking space with the ICE off because I didn't think they were available here yet.

RAV4 Hybrid was launched earlier this spring. RAV4 PHV will be launched next year as a 2021 model.

I live in Indiana and ordered my Prime limited on September 4th. I've been told it has been built so am awaiting delivery, hopefully by mid December when my current lease is up but my dealer can't promise.

After I turned in my leased PiP, I mentioned I was waiting for the Prime. The sales manager said I should have gotten a lease extension. You might want to ask about that if your Prime isn't in before you lease expires.

I’ve contacted Toyota Financial Services who told me I can extend my lease on a month to month basis but counseled me to hold off until I get better information from my dealer about delivery date because Toyota offers a 10 day gratis extension since I’m purchasing another Prius.

Prius Primes are definitely scarce in Texas. I was trying to find a 2020 Limited in Blue Magnetism, had two slip through my fingers before I could get to them. My local dealer offered to truck a 2019 Prius Prime Limited in Blue Magnetism from Louisana, but I really wanted the 2020 model. Charles Maund Toyota in Austin had one arrive, but unfortunately, it already had a deposit. They did tell me that they have a 2020 Prius Prime Limited in gray arriving in December if I wanted to make a deposit.

Ultimately, my local dealer was able to pull some strings and secure a 2020 Prius Prime Limited in black. It should be delivered in about 2 weeks, looking forward to joining the Prius community!

Also, I was told that the Blue Magnetism color is being phased out. Kind of a shame, I liked the color.

Makes no sense. Putting gas on the bottom of the tank is the same as putting it on top.
Being a pilot myself I firmly believe in rule 10:

    10) The three most useless things in aviation are runway behind you, altitude above you, and fuel not in your tank
Also you can never have too much fuel unless you are on fire.

I scream for bigger batteries, like everyone else in the PiP section did, during Gen1 PiP in the thread What do you want to see in the next gen Plugin
Yous all should be glad we did or all Prime drivers might still only have half the EV range you have now.

$10 of gas lasted me from the end of June till the end of October when I put another $10 worth in.
I know, makes no sense to those who use it. It also makes no sense to fill up every time if, it's going to take more than a year to use it.
Put hey, if you want to lug around a slowly draining tank of petrol for a year and/or keep dumpin more on top of a 3/4 full tank, I say go for it.

According to Autotrader, within a 50 mile radius of here, there are 187 new Primes and NJ doesn't have any purchase incentives.
