Hello All! After I removed the 12v (I had to charge it), my speedo went from MPH to KPH. I love doing a 100, but, I really need to get it back to MPH (no one said there'd be math involved to convert, LOL). I've looked in the book, ran thru all the settings adjustments but no joy. Any and all help will be appreciated. She's a '13 3.
Yeah, so make sure it's not on one of the trip meters, say A or B, or distance-to-empty: set trip so that Odometer is displayed. Then press-and-hold trip.
Yes. If it is on either Trip meter, it clears that Trip meter instead. So I updated that post to display that whole page, to make it bit more clear. Or at least as clear as Toyota chooses to make it.
As you can see, it tracks the mileage in 'miles', and MPG. The speedometer as you can see, is in KM/H. I apparently did not make this clear in my OP. How do I reset the speedometer to MPH?
- Change your right display to a different mode like Eco Mode. - Make sure it's "ODO" on top of the display, not Trip A or Trip B. - Press and hold the "Trip" switch on steering wheel to change to MPH.
You basically have to pull over to do this, or be unsafe! 2010 Prius, there's a dedicated button on the dash: every push toggles the units. Once again, Toyota introduces new "feature". I can picture American motorists, just north of the 49th parallel, pulled over, leafing through their (700 page) Owner's Manuals. Or vice versa for Canadians.
Did the Owner's Manual snippet in post #3, with highlighting, not show up on your computer or device?
