Hello guys and gals, I got a great deal on a set of FRS wheels and I have been searching the forums. I only found these threads for the gen 3 Prius. I want to know if anyone with the prime got the FRS wheels? From what I know after researching that the FRS wheels offset is 48mm and oem prime wheels are 40mm. For gen 3 Prius, members need to get 3mm spacers, 56.1mm to 54.1 hub rings and new lugs. Is that the same for the Prime? If not, please let me know what I will need to make this wheels work. Thanks in advance!
I don't know the answer to your specific question, but have you looked at this thread? Aftermarket Wheel Fitment Guidelines | PriusChat Sorry for not being able to help you much, but welcome to Priuschat.
Thanks! Yes I did look at the thread but nobody mention the FRS on the prime. Thanks again for the respond!
Why not just research what the Prime's hub size is and buy the rings accordingly? You already know what the hub of the FRS wheels are, stated above. Seems like the figures are there, you just have some googling to do.
Did you ever mount the wheels on your prime? I put some on my 2017 and am curious to your results. Mine look amazing but the gas mileage has tanked. ~ 20% I’m wondering if something is wrong.
yes it would be the same. Just confirm the hub rings I forget what size they are. I got a set in Enkei wheels for my prime
