I'm driving an 07 Touring with HID headlights. I've polished the lenses once already, but they are pretty horrible again, and even with tedious polishing, they had some cracking that I couldn't get out. I looked online for replacement lenses, but I'm not finding a lot for the HID, most of the lenses state that they are for the Halogen only. Has anyone swapped the lenses? I'd assume they are the same shape and material, and the main difference would be on the rear of the housing. It's a huge price difference. I can't find anything "aftermarket", but I am not familiar with where to look either. Most of my searching is on CarID, and similar sites. I was thinking I'd import something from Japan, but the site I found through Google never responded to my email. I'm new to the forum, I'll get an intro post up shortly. Brad
Search eBay for "Prius HID headlamp assembly". They cost about $205 per side. Fun part of the installation is moving the ballast from the old unit to the new. One way that works is unscrew the level adjuster all the way. Another is to disassemble the part that plugs into the bulb. Either way it's tedious getting the wire through a tight spot.
