Hello, my air conditioner and heat is making a noise chipping like noise. It doesn't matter the temp not the speed im going. It does speed up when you turn the air speed up. It also doesn't affect temperature thinking fan? Thank you in advance.
Had one do this because the cabin air filter had been pulled into the fan Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Debris in the fan box. Remove and replace cabin air filter behind glove box (plenty of how-to vids on the youtubes) and clean the fan assembly as thoroughly as you can. While you're at it, apply some air system cleaner/freshener product too. GOOD LUCK!
