The day after I was under the hood to remove the passenger side headlight/turn signal because of an outage, I had multiple lights on the dashboard come on. Initially I thought maybe I'd tripped something, because I didn't have a replacement bulb and the housing was left unsecured. However, the car's braking is severely impaired - even had a bit of fishtailing when I drove it back from an inspection.

Right now, the parking brake light stays on even when it isn't engaged, along with the yelow ((!)), the ABS light, and the VSC light. I got a code reader which is giving me the codes listed in the title. Brake fluid level is right in the middle of full and low, so the levels there aren't a problem. I also checked the fuses and they seem to be in good working order as well.

Any ideas what this might be? It seems like it might be a combination of worn rear brakes and the skid control ecu, but I don't know where to begin with this one.

maybe the parking brake is jammed, does it roll freely in neutral?

    Welcome to PriusChat!!

The workups for the DTCs you've posted are below. You'll notice that DTC C1202 has two (2) associated INFs (sub codes). Though the workups are similar, and won't take much time, you may want to procure a mini-vci cable and a copy of techstream for diagnosing DTCs that have multiple INFs.

Here is the workup for DTC C1202 with INFs 511 and 512 : https://share.qclt.com/%E4%B8%B0%E7%94%B0%E6%99%AE%E7%91%9E%E6%96%AF%E5%8E%9F%E5%8E%82%E8%8B%B1%E6%96%87%E6%89%8B%E5%86%8Cpdf%E6%A0%BC%E5%BC%8F/Repair%20Manual/04pruisr/05/21avn/cic12026.pdf

Here is the workup for DTC C1300 : https://share.qclt.com/%E4%B8%B0%E7%94%B0%E6%99%AE%E7%91%9E%E6%96%AF%E5%8E%9F%E5%8E%82%E8%8B%B1%E6%96%87%E6%89%8B%E5%86%8Cpdf%E6%A0%BC%E5%BC%8F/Repair%20Manual/04pruisr/05/21avn/cic1300.pdf

I don't think so. The car still moves just fine, and from what I understand from the manual, that warning light has to do with something relating to the actual brakes themselves, but who knows, maybe I'm completely wrong:-P. I'll test.

Thanks for those workups SFO. So I tried resetting the codes, and c1202 is still coming up, c1300 is not. Would you be able to give me the corresponding pages for what circuits to check after the code disappears (Problem symptom table, etc)? Looks like I'm gonna need a voltmeter to check the resistance of my fluid to go down the c1202 list.
