Because he wants to keep his spare fob wrapped in Al so there's no communication, but still hide a key outside in a emergency.
We usually stick to the plastic kind, but my allowance has gotten reduced after my recent purchases from @jeff652 . First charging top up this weekend.
Hide the key in the inside of the car under a panel is my idea which is the same place i hide my (fill in the blank). Leave screwdriver in trunk to take panel off. If you lose the key you can always call a locksmith to get inside the car. Take the battery out cause you can always buy a battery and don't need it to start the car.
ok crazy but heard you can have someone "play" the FOB over the phone from a remote location to open. Anyone tried this? and now they say there is a device transmitter that can "hack" your fob transmitter simply by rebroadcasting signal from your remote location to the car? Both instances sound very similar.
