Brake buzzer noise

    I am getting the annoying buzzer noise when pressing the brake pedal twice almost every time. What could this be? It buzzes for like few seconds. Very annoying. I have a Toyota Prius three 2012

    I am getting the annoying buzzer noise when pressing the brake pedal twice almost every time. What could this be? It buzzes for like few seconds. Very annoying. I have a Toyota Prius three 2012

    isn't it the accumulator filling?

    what do you mean by 'pressing the brake twice'?

    it's normal. the pedal activates the accumulator pump

    It does it EVERY time I press the brake pedal towards the floor or put pressure on the brake pedal at least twice then it buzzes it’s SO annoying and audible through The Whole car! For example I press it once, then I press it again and there it goes “BZZZZZZz” every single time are you sure that’s normal?

    If the buzzing is happening real frequently, might be something failing?

    hard to say, you're making it sound louder than normal. has it changed?

    Mine used to do that but somehow doesn’t do it anymore due to me not pressing down the brake too hard

    Basically every two pumps of the brake pedal there is an annoying buzzer noise

    It even buzzed while holding the pedal open and pumping it toward the floor smh

    Again, that seems too frequent. I vaguely recall that was a sign of something failing. Get a dealership mechanic to test drive? There is a warranty extension on the brake bits mounted on the firewall.

    could be a faulty actuator. go on toyotaowners.com and see if you qualify for the extended warranty
